Because of the ongoing coronavirus crisis and the State of Ohio response to it, the Ohio Business Matchmaker scheduled for April will be postponed. Those who already have registered will receive refunds. Please be patient; working through the refund process may take some time. At this time, we have not set a new date for the Matchmaker.

Matchmakers: Bringing Small Businesses and Government Buyers Together
Meeting face-to-face with potential buyers is an invaluable component of marketing, whether in commercial or government contracting. But meetings with government purchasing officers can be difficult to obtain, especially for small firms. Many Procurement Technical Assistance Centers PTACs sponsor or participate in at least one major Matchmaker each year, and many government agencies hold their own events as well. Also known as Procurement Conferences or Government Expos, matchmakers typically bring together acquisition officers from a number of agencies or buying activities to meet with aspiring vendors.
Register for the Conference – In order to participate in One-on-One Matchmaking, each individual must first register for the conference by completing the Attendee Registration Click here to register. During the registration process, you will be asked if you would like to be a part of matchmaking. From the drop down menu, you can select “Buyer,” “Supplier,” or “Non-Participant. As a supplier, you can upload your company’s capability statement during the registration.
Once your registration is completed, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. If you are a non-participant and decide to be a part of matchmaking after your registered, you can log back into the registration system with your username and password, click on the matchmaking tab and choose, “Buyer” or “Supplier. You can periodically log back into the system to check if any time slots have opened up with the buyer you want to meet with.
You can select up to three matchmaking appointments per attendee. Be sure to request sessions with your Buyers as soon as you receive email notification that sign-up has begun.
